The ceramics course will introduce students to the basics of ceramic creation: basic techniques for constructing hollow ceramic shapes (roller technique, squeezing, slab construction, closed shape creation, figural modeling, sculptural technique), decorating options, ceramic workshop equipment, and materials and tools used in ceramic creation in school practice, and finally, safety measures in ceramics instruction. Instruction will take the form of an art workshop and will focus not only on technical issues, but above all on the development of aesthetic sensibility and taste.
