Course content
|
As part of the course, students work as assistants and educators in a selected after-school club or leisure club at the faculty school. They consult with their tutor in advance and on an ongoing basis regarding the plan of activities, program, and objectives. Students reflect on their teaching practice with their tutor at a colloquium and evaluate it as part of their practice portfolio.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to internalize the principles of designing educational work with regard to the goals, methods, and means in the context of the conditions and individuality of younger school-age children in an informal educational environment. A prerequisite is assistance and long-term pedagogical guidance of a group of children in an after-school club or leisure club for the entire semester, for a minimum of 2 hours per week.
