Learning outcomes
|
The course focuses on natural science and social studies topics related to the local region (local landscape). On a theoretical level, it is based on the concept of the regional principle in education. The practical part emphasizes learning about social studies and natural science (ecosystem approach) connections in the real landscape. Students then create their own proposal for natural science and social studies field teaching for primary school pupils in the vicinity of the university and implement this model teaching. Emphasis is placed on working with the concept of "place" and its didactic use, mainly in the area of affective educational goals. The aim is for such integrated field teaching to be based on environmental education and to lead to the formation of environmentally literate individuals.
