Course content
As part of the course, students develop the abilities and skills necessary for the practical mastery of individual methods and techniques of drama education. They acquire basic knowledge and methodological procedures for leading children in drama lessons. They learn to use drama education methods and techniques so that they can apply them in educational activities in their teaching work. Thematic areas: 1. Components of the drama education process (personal and social development). 2. Advantages and limitations of drama education methods. 3. The personality of the drama teacher and their leadership role. 4. Organization of a drama education lesson. 5. Preparatory games and exercises - relaxation, discovering oneself and the surrounding world. 6. Preparatory games and exercises - communication, movement. 7. Application of drama education methods I. 8. Application of drama education methods II. 9. Application of drama education methods III. 10. Choice of themes and models. 11. Genres and types suitable for improvisation according to literature. 12. Reflection and its importance. 13. Micro-performances by students. 14. Micro-performances by students.
