Course content
|
Topics: The aim of the course is to elaborate on a selected pedagogical topic based on a visit to a selected school - 1st grade elementary school abroad - with regard to the Liberec region, a visit to Germany and Poland is expected. The selected school will be chosen with regard to innovative methods of teaching and social development of the school. Before the excursion, students elaborate an excursion plan under the guidance of a teacher, define the excursion thematically, and conduct "preliminary research" on the topic of the excursion. During the excursion, students work on the assigned topic and analyze, evaluate, and reflect on the teaching and educational program of the selected foreign educational institution, the pedagogical starting points and goals of the program, and in a professional discussion, they become familiar with the possibilities and problems of implementing SVP. The outputs from the excursion are presented during reflection within the evaluation seminar after the excursion itself. Study literature will be assigned in connection with the current topic of the foreign pedagogical excursion. A visit to a foreign university partner institution and a professional lecture by a foreign teacher for students of the Faculty of Arts of the TUL on the topic of a foreign excursion are also planned. A foreign pedagogical excursion is one-day, usually takes place in a foreign language - both the excursion itself and the preparation for it (in the form of studying professional texts). The subject Pedagogical Excursion 1 thus strengthens students' foreign language competences and at the same time strengthens the international aspect of studies. Its aim is also to motivate students to further foreign professional experience - student mobility abroad within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program.
