Course content
The content of the subject is based on the possibilities of traditional crafts in an unconventional concept, more specifically - it uses non-traditional materials and an untraditional concept in the traditional craft or the usual theme. Emphasis is placed on the development of fantasy and original art feeling and thinking.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Individual creative and artistic activities
  • Class attendance - 42 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 18 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course is formed in workshops. The goal is to introduce various creative methods, techniques and materials. Innovative creative methods (object creation, material exploring, dialogs with objects, environment, methods of action creation, return to nature, experience of own body). Classification follows the creative work. The application of problematics in education at primary school. (It focuses on preparation, motivation, creative work definition and its reflection). The upshot of the course is to present artifacts on a public exposition with vernissage at the end of semester.

Assessment methods and criteria
Presentation of acquired experience via portfolio, Presentation of student research activity

Activity in the classes, realization and prezentation of student portfolio. The course is held in Czech language, the requirements are stated in the Czech version.
