Course content
1. **Pedagogy as a Science** - Foundations and development of pedagogy as an academic discipline. 2. **Education as a System** - Understanding education as an interconnected and systemic process. 3. **Curricular Reform - Framework Educational Program for Preschool Education (ŠVP PV) and School Profiling, Creation of Class Educational Program (TVP)** - Key elements of curricular reform, school-specific profiling, and developing a tailored class program. 4. **Agents of Education - Educator and Learner** - Roles, interactions, and dynamics between teachers and children in the educational process. 5. **Methods and Forms of Educational Work in Preschool Education** - Organizational forms of educational work. - Educational and teaching methods. - Innovative approaches in preschool education. 6. **Evaluation in Preschool Education** - Evaluation of preschool operations and programs (ŠVP, TVP). - Pedagogical-diagnostic activities. - Reflection on the educational process and teacher self-reflection. 7. **Review of the Material Covered** - Summarization and consolidation of the course content.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Lecture, Practicum

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic terminology that forms the content of the study. These concepts are then linked to the systems and structures that form the basis of knowledge necessary for further study.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral presentation of self-study, Test

Active participation in lessons, completion of continuous tasks, presentation on an assigned topic, final test.
