Course content
|
As part of the course, students regularly (once a week) conduct visits and interviews in a selected kindergarten and prepare for their own pedagogical activities with children. The student gains orientation in the daily operational matters of the kindergarten, observes in practice the professional competences of the kindergarten teacher, increases their own pedagogical-psychological and methodological readiness for the preparation and for the independent conduct of pedagogical activities with children. The student reflects on the observed issues and the initial independent pedagogical activities with the trainee teacher and with the practice supervisor and learns methods of evaluation of his/her own pedagogical activities.

The aim of the course is to build on existing forms of practice and to deepen the direct experience with the field.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Practical demonstration of acquired skills, Inspection
Participation in exercises and regular ongoing professional practice in the kindergarten, keeping a pedagogical diary, discussion of topics observed during the practice, analysis of the observed issues.
