Course content
|
1. Educational program of the institution as a framework for pedagogical work for the out-of-school teacher - programs of school institutions, programs of non-profit organizations, programs of cultural institutions 2. Didactic aspects of programme development - specifics of the target group, objectives of the programme, its content, organisation, methods, conditions (time, space, material), evaluation of the programme 3. Programmes based on constructivist and socio-constructivist conceptions of learning and education - the learning process from the point of view of socio-constructivism - J. Piaget, J. S. Bruner, L. Vygotsky. Stages of the educational process - evocation, awareness, reflection. Conditions for successful educational activity of a teacher, use of these concepts in non-formal education. 4. Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking program - the socio-constructivist basis of this program, examples of methods and lessons - methods of reading and writing science and fiction texts, conversation and discussion, mind mapping and concept mapping, use in social science and environmental programs 5. Programs based on inquiry-based learning - socioconstructivism as the theoretical basis for this model of instruction, problem or question, nature of the inquiry cycle and its phases, use in science and environmental programs 6. Programs based on cooperative learning - meaning and nature of cooperative activity, principles of the cooperative learning model. 7. Programs based on cooperative learning - methods of cooperative group activity - working on a product work, simulation games, role plays, drama games, examples of use in different educational areas.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to equip students with basic pedagogical and psychodidactic knowledge and skills that they will apply in the creation of short-term educational programmes in the field of non-formal education and education. The programmes will be based on (socio-) constructivist theories and on the theory of cooperative learning and education.

Practical demonstration of acquired skills, Oral presentation of self-study
Active participation in contact teaching. Design and presentation of an educational programme in the field of non-formal education and training for a selected age group.
