Course content
|
Personal and Social Education: Definition, objectives, methods, outcomes, creating a safe environment, preparation, and evaluation. Educators' Competencies for Implementing Personal and Social Education: Integration of personal and social education into thematic blocks. Who Am I, What Am I Like: Self-awareness, self-relationship, self-regulation, and self-organization. Me and Others, Others and Me: The child's relationships with peers and adults, shared experiences, understanding others, communication, cooperation, competition, and problem-solving. Me and the World Around Me: Perception of diversity, understanding risks, promoting a healthy lifestyle, family dynamics, and finding one's place in the world. Creativity, Values, Attitudes, and Practical Ethics: Fostering creativity and ethical behavior while promoting values and attitudes. Psychosocial Stress in Teachers' Work: Stress management strategies and habits for maintaining psychological well-being.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the area of personal and social education, which is permeated in all educational fields in the educational process. Personal and social education contributes in the work of the teacher to the authentic establishment of relations with children and their parents, the development of relationships between children, the relationship of the child to himself and the relationship of the child to the world surrounding him. In order to effectively manage the demands of education expressed above in terms of teacher competencies, it is essential for the teacher to acquire the skills represented in this area.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Practical demonstration of acquired skills, Interview, Oral presentation of self-study
Active Participation Regular attendance and active engagement in all exercises, discussions, and activities during the course. Creation and Presentation of a Seminar Paper Develop a seminar paper on a topic related to the course content, demonstrating understanding and application of the concepts. Present the seminar paper to peers and instructors, highlighting key insights, findings, or proposals.
