Course content

Topics: 1. Image construction, landscape forms, composition 2. Pencil drawing, landscape with architectural elements, use of perspective 3. Stylization of a natural landscape element 4. Watercolor painting in the open air 5. Landscape painting with impasto (tempera, egg tempera, spatula) 6. Combining painting techniques with drawing tools.

Learning outcomes
|
Drawing and painting in nature. We focus on the urban landscape of Liberec, its architecture, parks, and dam. Searching for suitable motifs for creation. Our work employs perspective rendering and the search for a rich color palette from a limited number of colors, approximating the colors of nature. We use techniques suitable for plein air painting.
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field.

Presentation of artistic and creative activities
Active participation in the seminar, practical work at home, colloquial presentation of homework and school work.
