Topics: Types of puppets and basic principles of puppet theater. Principles of working with puppets. Animation. Puppets as a motivational tool in teaching. Puppet movementpractical instruction. Specifics of puppet production and use. Making your own puppets. Animation with your own puppet. What around us can be a puppet. Specifics of puppet theater. Information about professional productions and possible collaboration. Puppets and fairy tales. Puppets as a teaching tool. Work on a specific assignment. Reflection. Student performances.

Learning outcomes
|
During the course, students will learn about the basic types of puppets. They will try their hand at simple puppet making and working with themanimation. They will become familiar with the principles of puppetry and working with available materials. We will show how to use puppets or objects to demonstrate various educational and social situations. We will tell stories through puppets.
