Course content
Thematic areas: 1-2. Poetry for children. 3-4. Fables. 5-6. Legends, myths. 7-8. Folk tales. 9-10. Original fairy tales. 11-12. Stories with child heroes. 13-14. Stories inspired by adult literature.

Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Seminár
Learning outcomes
The course is based on individual reading by students and subsequent interpretation of texts. Through discussion and sharing in groups, students refine their opinions, follow observations, and form their own views on the material presented. Students also become familiar with the genre composition of literature for children and young adults. The course primarily uses a comparative style of work and critical reflection.
