Thematic headings: 1. Explanation of basic concepts - discussions, shared conversations, mind maps. 2. Determinants of health - physical activity, nutrition, environment, psychosocial environment, family lifestyle, mental hygiene, dangers of addiction. 3. Prevention - programme design, group work. 4. Health promotion programme in school - analysis of video demonstrations. 5. Teacher's personality in the implementation of health education.

Learning outcomes
|
The course leads students to understand the interconnectedness of health with overall lifestyle, family life, school, living and working environments. The aim is to show the links between physical, mental and social health and to lead to the application of these ideas to the work of the school.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Practical demonstration of acquired skills, Oral presentation of self-study, Presentation of student research activity
Active participation in the exercises, presentation of the project proposal for health promotion in primary school.
