Course content
Thematic areas - lectures: 1. The importance of music and its function in human life. 2. Psychological foundations of music education and musical activities in primary school. 3. Development of children's musical abilities in primary school. 4. - 5. Rhythmic games, working with rhythm. 6. Rhythmic games, working with rhythm, Orff instruments. 7. - 8. Singing activities in primary school. 9. - 11. Working with songs in primary school. 12. - 14. Elementary musical creativity - synthesis of the topics covered in a creative approach. Thematic areas - exercises: 1. The importance of music and its function in human life. 2. Psychological foundations of music education and musical activities at primary school level. 3. Development of children's musical abilities at primary school level. 4. - 5. Rhythmic games, working with rhythm. 6. Rhythmic games, working with rhythm, Orff instruments. 7. - 8. Singing activities at primary school level. 9. - 10. Working with songs at primary school level. 11. Working with songs in primary school. Use of glockenspiels, xylophones, boomwhackers, and keyboard instruments. 12. - 14. Elementary musical creativity - synthesis of the topics covered in a creative approach.

Learning outcomes
The course introduces the basic principles of musical activities at the primary school level. It provides a basic theoretical and practical framework for artistic, creative methods and activities in musical activities at the primary school level.

Presentation of artistic and creative activities, Written assignment
