Course content
After the thesis topic is approved by the program guarantor and the faculty dean, the student begins working on the diploma thesis. During the first semester of thesis preparation, the student conducts an in-depth literature review on the topic and outlines the thesis structure according to the specified goals and methods. At the end of the first semester, the student presents the current state of research on the topic, including a draft of the thesis and a concept of the research or practical section. In the second semester, as part of the "Diploma Seminar 2," the theoretical or introductory part of the thesis is completed. Additionally, the research or practical project is implemented, evaluated, and reflected upon, enabling the discussion of the topic to be developed and the contributions of the thesis to be clearly defined. Throughout the diploma seminar, the student regularly consults their work with the thesis supervisor during scheduled consultations. At the end of "Diploma Seminar 1," the student presents partial results, and at the end of "Diploma Seminar 2," the final outcomes of the thesis are submitted. By granting credit for "Diploma Seminar 1," the thesis supervisor (program guarantor) agrees to the continuation of the thesis work. By granting credit for "Diploma Seminar 2," the supervisor (program guarantor) approves the submission of the completed thesis.
