Course content
|
The course introduces students to the components of music education, their place and role in the school education process. Within the framework of the course, students acquire and consolidate the correct and necessary skills and habits in the field of vocal and instrumental activities and prepare themselves to teach these at the primary school level. Partial attention is devoted to listening activities. Thematic areas: A/ Vocal activities Singing education at the primary school level. Diagnosis of the vocal expression of younger school-age children. Breathing technique, singing breathing, practical breathing exercises. Tone production, tone placement - practical exercises. Basic types of tone connection (division) - legato, staccato. Articulation in singing - relaxation of the articulatory apparatus, articulation of vowels, consonants, practice procedure. B/ Instrumental activities - Orff instruments, piano playing Description and use of children's musical instruments in primary school. Methodological instructions for playing easy-to-use instruments. Knowledge of music theory and its use in instrumental (piano) playing. Playing songs on the piano (song playing technique), song accompaniment. Harmony of singing and playing when presenting a song. Children's instrumental playing (creation and realization of a score). C/ Listening activities Teaching younger school-age children to perceive and understand music. The process of music perception - active forms (vocal and instrumental interpretation, elements of music and movement), receptive forms (listening using playback devices, PCs, music recitals). Students prepare and then present outputs on the topics presented, which are then analyzed.
