Course content
1. Educational theory and teaching concepts (categorization of educational theories, concepts influencing primary education, constructivist concept of teaching). 2. Organizational forms of teaching (individual teaching and its possibilities, mass teaching and its didactic aspects, group teaching, cooperative teaching, problem-based teaching, individualization and differentiation in teaching, inclusive teaching). 3. Teaching methods (classification of teaching methods and their analysis, criteria of effectiveness, application of methods in teaching at the primary level). 4. Psychodidactic diagnostics (diagnostic methods, meaning, functions and forms of assessment at the first level, feedback, formative assessment, meaning of learning errors, guidance for pupils' self-assessment). 5. Possibilities of alternations and innovations in teaching at primary school (innovative schools, inspiration from alternative currents).

Learning outcomes
The course is directly related to Psychodidactics 1. It introduces students to the key areas of implementation and evaluation of teaching at primary school in a comprehensive perspective, including didactic, pedagogical-psychological and social-psychological aspects. Students develop their competences for managing teaching, creating a favourable learning environment, individual approach to pupils and work with the class, psychodidactic diagnostics.
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field.
Prerequisites
General orientation in the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral presentation of self-study, Test

Participation in seminars, completion of ongoing assignments, presentations, active participation in discussions on professional topics based on critical analysis of literature, seminar work. Written and oral exam.
