Course content
|
Thematic headings: 1. Shared conversation in pairs - writing questions related to the preparation and implementation of the project in the classroom. Collaborative sorting and structuring of questions - creating a mind map. 2. joint analysis of the demonstrations (listening, video). Group analysis of demonstrations (text documentation, examples of products from completed projects, study scripts and literature). Presentation and discussion. 3. Generalisation of the requirements for the implementation of thematic and project-based learning (appropriate selection of topics, setting of objectives, adaptation of the environment, relationships, tools, rules, method of assessment). Possibilities for effective integration and combination of the two methods. 4. Discussion - types of projects, generalisation of advantages, disadvantages, pitfalls and possibilities of their solution. 5. Guided planning of project-based learning - Part 1: Individually or in a small group, students develop a proposal for their own project. They will learn about the five-step project development methodology. 6. Students will develop a proposal of the measures necessary to ensure the successful preparation and implementation of the project. 7. Presentation of project proposals to the group, evaluation of proposals according to given criteria, self-reflection of participants.

The course is focused on the search for the characteristics and definition of project-based learning, on the assessment of the possibilities, advantages, disadvantages and pitfalls of its implementation.
