Course content
Thematic areas: 1. Types of puppets. 2. Work with the puppet. 3. Puppets as motivation. 4. Puppet movement - practical lessons. 5. Flat puppets. 6. Production of one's own puppet. 7. Animation with one's own puppet. 8. Types of puppet theater. 9. Production map and its use. 10. Puppets and fairy tales. 11. Preparation of group performances. 12. Preparation of group performances. 13. Student performances. 14. Student performances.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Motoric and practical working skills training, Active metods (simulation, situational contingency methods, drama,acting, namagerial acting )
  • Home preparation for classes - 16 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 14 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Students will get an overview of the types of puppets and their suitability for use. They will practice and learn the principles of working with a puppet. Teaching supports the development of reading literacy. Emphasis is placed primarily on communication skills.
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field.

General orientation in the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Presentation of artistic and creative activities, Systematické pozorování studenta

Participation in the classes, presentation. The course is held in Czech language, all requirements are stated in the Czech version.
