Thematic areas: 1. Textile material history.Textile materials and techniques in Visual Arts and design. traditions. 2. Textile in contemporary art. 3. Inspiration for school practice. 4.- 6. Art -making. 7. Presentation, reflexion.

Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Individual creative and artistic activities

Learning outcomes
|
The course has a form of workshop. Student study basic terminology, textil materials and its specific characteristic, historical and contemporary context of textil materials and techniques application in Arts. Students use examples of arts and crafts for planning art activities for children and adults. They test some special tecniques anf methods.
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field.

General orientation in the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Practical demonstration of acquired skills, Presentation of artistic and creative activities, Presentation of acquired experience via portfolio, Presentation of acquired knowledge via paper
Active participation, semestral work. The course is held in Czech language, the requirements are stated in the Czech version.
