1. Introduction of ergo therapy 2. Methods, approaches and principals in ergo therapy 3. Ergo therapy and spare time 4. Compensation aids, education aids and the theoretical reflection of them 5. Institutions in ergo therapy and connected services

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence, Active metods (simulation, situational contingency methods, drama,acting, namagerial acting )
  • Class attendance - 6 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 35 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 50 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
This course has theoretical and practical aims. The final goal is to show the students the specific qalities of ergotherapist and other members of the reahbilitation team in the system of complex rehabilitation. Students also receive basic information about the compensative aids useful for people with particular health disorders.

Prerequisites
Special education and consecutive knowledge gained through the educational background.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis

To gain the credit students write a semestral thesis. Students follow the instructions of the lecturer, they follow the instruction of lenght, topic and content. The thesis must show the knowledge students master through their study hours.
