Course content
Lectures: 1. Basic terminology: supervision, intervision, supervisor. 2. History and the presence of supervision. 3. Character, subject nad typology of supervision. 4. Goals and task of supervision. 5. Methods and forms of supervision. 6. Ethical principles and supervision principles. 7. Risks and limits of supervision. Seminars: 1. Group discussion: the contribution of supervision for social work and social workers. 2. Supervision in the practical training in the first semester (individual and group discussion). 3. Finding and understanding theoretical principles of social work in practical examples. 4. Looking for the ethical problems and dilemas of social work. 5. Group discussion about the methodical aspects in some of the social work cases. Multidisciplinary approach. 6. The rules of supervision group, content of the group work. 7. Balint´s approach - practical training.

Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence, Group consultation, Students' portfolio

Learning outcomes
Supervision in the practical training is a discipline bulit up on the experience from practical training. Students learn to accept and understand supervision as a way of correcting their professional behaviour and as a tool of their professional growth.

The bachelor level of knowledge of the social work topics and its supporting disciplines.
