Course content
1. Financing of the social services in the Czech Republic, multisource financing, grants and dotation 2. Social services providers from the state and the private sectors 3. Life span of an organization 4. Marketing and management in the social sphere 5. Management techniques 6. Reinforcing the quality of social services

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence
  • Semestral paper - 18 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 12 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to connect and widen the knowledge of students from the area of economy and management, so the student is able to plan and provide a social service on one's own and in regard to its financing, staff, management, and the rise of the service quality. Student will gain the complex view of the economics of a social service.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis

To gain the credit students must join the seminar and write a semestral thesis. Other demands are specified by the lecturer.
