Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this course is to teach students the present demands of the direct care of a client in social work. The new trends are considered such as: social work in difficult situations; social work with minorities - mainly with people endangered by the social exclusion; anti-oppressive and antidiscrimination approaches; alternative therapies in social work; deinstitutionalization and transformation of the services in the social area.

Student's performance analysis
To gain the credit students must join the seminar and write a semestral thesis. Other demands are specified by the lecturer.
