Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence

Learning outcomes
The issue of working with the imprisoned from the point of view of the experts and the prison service security professionals in different types of jail, according to the internal differentiation and the special departments of the prisons. Expert terminology used in the penitentiary and post-penitentiary care. Trends in the practical penitentiary and post-penitentiary care, programmes (3Z, GREP P, etc.) applied when working with the imprisoned who committed crimes when influenced by the psychoactive substances, who suffer the personal disorder, or sexual paraphilia and so on. Designing the treatment programmes, methods and techniques of social work such as risk assessment, needs assessment and assessing the protective factors (SARPO). Participation of the external subjects which - in the context of continual social work and the post-penitentiary care - follow the expert work of the specialist in prisons. E.g. PMS, Sananim, Podané ruce, social firm Semitam, probation officer and others. The terms like prisonization, "second life" and others will be explained, prison argot. Student is able to understand the legal norms which are connected with the social work with the imprisoned and the released ex-prisoners.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis

To gain the credit students write a semestral thesis. Students follow the instructions of lecturer, they follow the instruction of lenght, topic and content. The thesis must show the knowledge students master through their study hours. The thesis must be accepted by the lecturer, so the student can enter the exam. Examination conditions are set by the lecturer.
