Course content
Students will learn about: - the important other disciplines that do the research about families; - the sociological, psychological, and demographic data which are highly valuable for the family social work methods and techniques; - the principles of the family social work methods and techniques considering the family to be a small social group, system and institution. Specific topics are: - crisis family situations; - domestic violence; - social pathological and psycho pathological situations in the families. Students will learn how to deal with topics like: - families and the divorce; - foster care and its consequences for social work; - and there will be the family redevelopment service introduced and presented.

Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis

To gain the credit students write a semestral thesis. Students follow the instructions of lecturer, they follow the instruction of lenght, topic and content. The thesis must show the knowledge students master through their study hours. The thesis must be accepted by the lecturer, so the student can enter the exam. Examination conditions are set by the lecturer.
