Course content
1. Therapeutic techniques in social work - significance, kinds, specific features 2. Art therapy 3. Ergo therapy 4. Drama therapy 5. Psycho-motoric therapy 6. Activity therapy, game therapy 7. Music therapy 8. Therapy with animals 9. Special activation techniques used when working with particular social work target groups - reminiscence, validation, basal stimulation etc.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence

Learning outcomes
The aim of the discipline is to help students learn about the theory and the practice of particular techniques that are used in social work and to help them gain some skills in particular activity therapies.

Social issues and consecutive knowledge gained through the educational background.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis

To gain the credit students write a semestral thesis. Students follow the instructions of lecturer, they follow the instruction of lenght, topic and content. The thesis must show the knowledge students master through their study hours. The thesis must be accepted by the lecturer, so the student can enter the exam. Examination conditions are set by the lecturer.
