Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to teach students the principles and methods of project planning and management. In lectures and seminars, students will learn about the theory and practice of project management needed for project managers or members of project teams. The course will use specialized software to support planning and project management. Students will learn about grant issues, as well as the specifics of innovation projects and projects for improving production processes. Course content: 1. Introduction to project management, project categories and definitions, project planning and management phases, project management organization, project manager competencies according to IPMA. 2. Logical frame matrix (LRM), feasibility study, project goals, SMART principle. 3. Analysis of opportunities and risks. 4. Efficiency and return on investment. 5. WBS work structure, material decomposition, organizational decomposition, responsibility matrix (e.g. RASCI). 6. Time planning tools - Gantt diagram, milestone diagram, network diagrams. 7. Critical Path Method (CPM). 8. Value Generated Analysis (EVA). 9. Project team, behavioral competence in project management. 10. Use of software tools for effective project planning. 11. Use of software tools for effective monitoring of project implementation and management. 12. Grant issue I ? providers, structure of procurement documentation, solved projects. 13. Grant issues II ? structure of the project application, evaluation, solution and closure of the project. 14. Innovation projects, process improvement projects.
