Learning outcomes
Within the subject the principles and methods of project management will be explained. Within the lectures and exercises the students will get acquainted with the project management theory and practice needed for project leaders or project team members (individual phases and steps in the planning, preparation and implementation of projects will be explained). Within the subject will be used software for project management support. The following topics will be discussed within the subject: 1. Introduction to project management, project categories and definitions, project planning and management phases, project management organization, project manager and project team, 2. logical framework matrix, feasibility study, project objectives, SMART principle, 3. structure of WBS work, material decomposition, organizational decomposition, responsibility matrix, 4. Scheduling tools, critical path method, 5. analysis of opportunities and risks, 6. EVA analysis, 7. efficiency and return on investment, 8. project management system, 9. project evaluation, 10. Using software tools for effective project management.
