Learning outcomes
This subject improves your knowledges in the area of the warp knitting technology. Firstly it is necessary to prepare of materials for warp knitting (especially technology of warping). The knitting elements and the course formation are explained with the videos and animations. The other devices (yarn feeding, driving, fabric take-up and batching, programming, etc.) are included into lectures too with the description of the using of the ground and pattern guide bars. The principles of the jacquard devices and the jacquard warp knitting structure are explained and it is showed the methods of jacquard guide bars arranging. At the end of warp technology the principles of weft insertion and producing of the multiaxial warp knitted fabrics are making clear.
Student orients himself in area of warp knitting. He knows warp knitting machines, standard and special technologies of production of warp knitted fabric, their pattering. He gains a summary of structure of warp knitted fabrics.
Prerequisites
Exam from subject Knitting. Knowledge of knitting patterns is necessary.
