Course content
Special practice is realized at the institute dealing with textile manufacturing. The practice runs for three weeks.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Motoric and practical working skills training
  • Practical training (number of hours) - 120 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) - 50 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Professional experience is realized in cooperation with the specialized departments for three weeks in the field associated with the study branch or student discipline program. The aim is to improve professional practice competencies of students developed their communicative skills and independence in solving the given tasks. Requirements for graduate technical fields are much complex learning and achievement of goals is more challenging. Technically educated expert must have the theoretical and technical knowledge to master techniques of experimental methods and data processing, but must be able to work in a team, be adequately equipped linguistically and control basic managerial skills. Currently, great emphasis is placed on the outputs of completed projects primarily in terms of publications, preparation of technical documents and in most cases also to its own physical implementation. Practice can help students develop these skills. The practical trained students prepare professional report, describing their activities and also should present their outputs. The scope, method of processing and the course of public defence in the form of presentation is specified individually in the preparation of contract documents for all parties (student, FT TUL and society that accepts a student).
Within this subject student gains practical experience from his field of study.

Theoretical knowledge from the area of previous study.

Assessment methods and criteria
Practical demonstration of acquired skills

Credit: To pass credit students should to perform: 1. Company confirmation of the practice stage processing with regard to professional or study program, which includes company name, student's name, length of practice, stamp and signature of company representative (or contract). 2. The report of the practice giving all the particulars. 3. Generally the obtained results presentation with the participation of the experts.
