Course content
|
Lectures: 1. Organization and goals of teaching skating, importance, historical development. Organizational guidelines, principles of safety. 2. Basic rules of ice hockey. Organization and figure skating competitions rychlobruslařských pupils. 3rd Final written test. Exercises: 1. Exercise balance, driving forward, stopping, and reloading forward. 2. Translating back, speedskating. 3. Contact and arches skating, jumping obstacles. 4. The essential elements of skating. Movement games on the ice. 5. Motion games on the ice. 6. Basics of Hockey 7. Modified Figure Skating 8. Speedskating elements (start, the exit of corners, etc.). 9. Figure skating elements and their application in basic skating. 10. Practical Output

Learning outcomes
|
To pass the structured review of basic knowledge of of skating at school. Students gain knowledge for practical application and effective influence for skating teaching. Teacher trainees try teaching which is part of the course.
Students received unique competences as per the curriculum of skating.

Elementary movement skills - adequate to the students age class.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student's performance analysis, Didactic test
Conditions for granting credit: - a written test on the theory and didactics of skating, the basics of figure skating, and the rules of ice hockey - a practical ice skating test (the student drives a figure eight around the bull twice, when driving around the circle, he has to shift constantly, after going around the first figure, he stops in the marked space between the bulls, then in the opposite direction he rides the second figure eight while driving behind, when he again has to continuously shift and then there is a stop again - a different type than before, in the marked area, then the student takes the hockey stick and one figure eight in any direction with the stick and leads the puck around the circle again and then stops in the marked area, the puck must be under control the whole time.
