Course content
|
The course is focused on acquiring knowledge and practical skills required to stay and move in mountain terrain. During the course the day-long hikes student acquainted with route selection and organization of the movement in the mountains, with the issue of appropriate equipment and weapons for hiking, with objective and subjective danger in the mountains, the principles of safety. Part of the course content is also cultural and sightseeing activities.

Learning outcomes
|
The course focuses on the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for the implementation and organization of tourist trips in the mountains. Students are familiar with the dangers in the mountains.
Students obtain adequate information and skills in the following areas: - Safe motion in a mountain area. - Route planning with regard to the group. - Evaluation of subjective and objective danger. - Orientation in the field. - Reading maps. - Select and use proper material equipment.

Basic motor skills appropriate age characteristics of the student.

Student's performance analysis, Practical demonstration of acquired skills
Active participation in the course, completing the course content in its entirety.
