Theory: 1. History of massage. 2. Types of massage. 3. The influence of massage on human organism. 4. Indications and contra-indications of massage. 5. Massage tools. 6. Hygiene of massage. 7. The system of massage grasps. Practice: 1. Basic massage grasps. 2. Massage of back and neck. 3. Massage of the trunk. 4. Massage of stomach. 5. Massage of the anterior side of the lower limb. 6. Massage of the posterior side of the lower limb. 7. Massage of the upper limb.

Learning outcomes
|
The subject introduces students to the theory and basic techniques of sport massage.
Students will learn the basic skills of sports massage.

Course credit requirements: Active participation at the seminars (attendance at least 80 %), theoretical test, demonstration of practical skills.
