Course content
Thematic areas: 1. Diagnostics of swimming skills. 2. Development of basic swimming skills. Games for adaptation to the aquatic environment. 3. Technique and practice of breaststroke swimming - body position. Games for practicing fusion. 4. Technique and practice of breast swimming - work of the lower limbs. Games for practicing breathing. 5. Technique and practice of breaststroke swimming - work of the upper limbs. Interplay of HK and DK. Interplay of HK with breathing. 6. Technique and practice of breaststroke - interplay of HK and DK with breathing. Technique and practice of swimming backstroke and backstroke - body position. 7. Technique and practice of swimming backstroke and crawl - lower limb work with different arm positions. Falls and jumps into water. 8. Technique and practice of crawling - work of the upper limbs, breathing practice. Diving training and underwater orientation. 9. Technique and practice of crawl swimming - interplay of HK and DK in no-breathing, with breathing. Basic turns. 10. Technique and practice of swimming stroke - work of upper limbs, breathing. Technical exercises in the backstroke style of swimming, interplay practice. 11. Improving swimming techniques. 12. Modified swimming methods. Weighted swimming. Positioning. 13. Fin swimming. 14. Fulfillment of credit requirements.

Learning outcomes
The lesson is focused on mastering the technique of three swimming methods (breaststroke, backstroke, backstroke), the methodology of basic swimming training, helping a tired swimmer and the elements of saving drowning people.
The student is a swimmer and can swim technically correctly. Knows the basics of first aid.
Prerequisites
The student can swim.

Assessment methods and criteria
Practical demonstration of acquired skills

Active participation in exercises. Completion of the swimming test - swim technically correctly and continuously 200 m breaststroke.
