Course content
|
Thematic areas: 1. Introductory lesson - teaching tasks, content, goals and application of gymnastics in school TV. Theory of correct posture. Series exercises. Assignment of seminar papers and methodological outputs. Basics of terminology (stances, squats, sits). 2. Exercises to develop mobility. Exercise in pairs. Direct and balancing exercises. Basics of terminology (beds, supports). 3. Reinforcement theory. Exercises using equipment (mats, jump ropes, balls, bars). Relaxation and breathing exercises. 4. Exercises using tools (benches, crates, ladders). Balance exercises and special neuromuscular coordination. 5. Combination of tools and equipment and their use in different parts of the lesson (obstacle courses, exercises with music, circuit training, interval training). 6. Motor skills - functional training (gymnastics training). Climbing (transportation exercises, pole climbing). Basics of terminology (movements of body parts - arms, legs). 7. Exercises on the vault (transportation exercises, gymnastic games, crunches, springboards) and small trampolines. Basics of terminology (movements of body parts - trunk, head). 8. Exercises on the trapeze (transportation exercises, gymnastic games, hangings, pull-ups, jumps, escapes) and on the balance beam (walking, jumps, turns). 9. Exercises for acrobatics (transportation exercises, gymnastic games, jumps, rolls, standing with tense arms, flipping the tent) and on circles (hanging, hooping). 10. Basics of rhythmic gymnastics ? musical movement relationships. 11. Modern forms of exercise ? aerobics, zumba, dance aerobics, step aerobics. 12. Dance steps (polka, waltz, waltz, mazurka, jive, cha cha), characteristic rhythms, dynamics. Student improvisation. 13. Country dances. 14. Credit.

Learning outcomes
|
The teaching is focused on the acquisition of gymnastic movement skills and knowledge in terms of methodology and didactics of basic, sports and rhythmic gymnastics, mainly with a focus on the curriculum for the 1st grade of elementary school. Furthermore, on the practical acquisition of help and rescue in teaching from the point of view of the safety of pupils, gymnastic terminology and the basics of gymnastic and fitness training.
The student can lead a lesson in basic and rhythmic gymnastics.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student's performance analysis, Practical demonstration of acquired skills
Participation in exercises. Seminar paper - graphic processing of gymnastic warm-up. Test from the curriculum of gymnastics and vocabulary. Methodical output of practice - acquisition of gymnastic skills. Practical exam on the given elements of basic, sports and rhythmic gymnastics.
