Course content
Exercises: 1) Basic concepts. Characteristics, history, systematics of content and basic division of combats. Organization of exercises. 2) Basic agility, elements of movement in self-defense. Preparatory combats, combat games. Self-defense tactics. 3) Grips, freeing from grips. 4) Choking, defense against choking. 5) Levers, defense against leverage. 6) Strikes, defense against strikes. 7) Fighting in a stance, tactics of fighting in a stance. 8) Fighting on the ground, tactics of fighting on the ground. 9) Defense against an armed attacker (pistol, knife, stick). 10) Throws, defeats and pulls. 11) Sensitive areas on the human body. 12) Defense against simultaneous attack by multiple attackers, assistance to the attacked. 13) Selected elements of professional self-defense. 14) Fulfillment of credit requirements.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Practicum
  • Preparation for credit - 25 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course is focused on the demonstration of the principles of the teaching of abusive activities while simultaneously acquiring the relevant movement skills. Student will acquire theoretical knowledge of theory and didactics of abilities and will be able to demonstrate basic basic skills.
Students will acquire mastery of physical skills, martial arts sports.
Prerequisites
Elementary movement skills corresponding to the age characteristics of the student.

Assessment methods and criteria
Practical demonstration of acquired skills

Course credit requirements: Active participation at the seminars (attendance at least 75 %), demonstration of selected motoric skills.
