Course content
1. Introductory lesson. History of basketball and volleyball. 2. Basketball - individual game activities - dribbling. 3. Basketball - individual game activities - passing. 4. Basketball - individual game activities - shooting. 5. Basketball - individual game activities - rebound. 6. Basketball - refereeing and tournament organization. 7. Volleyball - individual game activities - overhand hits. 8. Volleyball - individual game activities - underarm hits. 9. Volleyball - individual game activities - service. 10. Volleyball - individual game activities - pass and set. 11. Volleyball - individual game activities - blocks. 12. Volleyball - gaming systems and combinations. 13. Volleyball - refereeing and tournament organization. 14. Credit session.

Learning outcomes
During the course, students will improve the theoretical and practical basics of basketball and volleyball and the management of matches (the functions of referee, timekeeper and match scorer). Students will get acquainted with the history of these games and the organization of local and foreign tournaments.
The student will be able to organize a tournament in volleyball and basketball, including its decision-making, and actively play these two sports at a basic level.

Premises are included in the abstracts of the subject and its curriculum.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis, Didactic test

1) Active class participation and 80% attendance of the total number of hours in the semester. 2) Test the rules, history, basics of decision-making, and organization of volleyball and basketball tournaments (required to complete 70%, one test correction is allowed). 3) Practical output from the basic gaming activities of an individual: Two-handed overhead kick test: The shot of the tested player must be made according to the volleyball rules. The tested player, standing behind the offensive line, repeatedly bounces the ball over the net with both hands in a pair with a player. Standing on the other side of the net. The cooperating player makes the first shot. Submission test: The service of the tested player must be done according to the rules of volleyball. The tested player must achieve three good serves out of 5 attempts. It can be served top or bottom. Touching the net when serving is not a fault. Free throw shooting: 2 successful baskets out of 10 attempts. Repeated two-strokes: demonstrate the correct technical execution of the two-stroke three times in a row.
