The course prepares master's students for the challenges of independent artistic practice and independent activity within the academic environment and on the international art scene. Students will work on projects that respond to open gallery calls, residencies and competitions. While working on these projects, they will learn to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge into practice and develop their presentation and communication skills. They will also discuss the best examples of artistic practice, thereby expanding their awareness of current trends in contemporary art. Students will acquire the skills to present their work in English, including presenting a CV and portfolio, prepare for international art competitions or Open Calls and defend their projects in English and lead a professional discussion about them.
