Course content
|
The teaching is designed so that students can develop their skills in the areas of analysis, practical creation and the ability to present and defend their projects. Students conduct research on selected topics using professional sources. They discuss possible approaches, materials and implementation techniques, while they are recommended relevant professional publications that help them expand their creative horizons and connect theory with practice. Based on the research and subsequent analysis, students formulate their creative concept, which they consult with teachers. Consultations focus on specifying the project, selecting suitable materials and techniques. The process of implementing art projects is continuously accompanied by professional guidance, which provides students with targeted support. At the end of the course, students will gain the ability to critically analyze the chosen topic, formulate their own creative approach, reflect on their work and defend it in the context of theory and contemporary art. They will learn to work with professional resources and use them in the implementation of their artistic projects. At the same time, they develop creativity and technical skills. The recommendation of professional literature and examples of artistic works significantly contributes to the connection of the theoretical and practical components of the teaching.

Learning outcomes
|
The subject Art Projects is focused on the development of independent artistic thinking through work on one's own themes. Studio work includes not only the creation itself, but also intensive discussions on the theoretical and technical aspects of individual projects. Dialogue between students and teachers creates a continuous exchange of views on the topics of artistic practice and reflection on contemporary society. This process contributes to the development of students as independent creative personalities with a comprehensive view of artistic and broader cultural issues. The aim of the subject is to support the development of individual creativity, sensitivity and the ability to reflect on artistic work. The result is not only the processing of original projects, but also the ability to defend and present one's work in the context of theoretical and practical aspects of artistic practice.
Student gains practical experiences with preparation and realization of art projects.

Learning outcomes: Knowledge Student: 1. Knows the basic theoretical and technical principles of visual art. 2. Is familiar with current trends and discourses in visual art. 3. Understands the significance of one's own creative expression in the context of the cultural and social environment. 4. Understands the relationship between the concept, medium and form of a work of art. 5. Knows the principles of presenting and defending an artistic project. Skills Student: 1. Independently formulates and develops one's own artistic intention. 2. Critically reflects on one's own work and the work of others in the context of contemporary art. 3. Applies various artistic procedures and techniques in the implementation of an artistic project. 4. Presents and defends one's own work with an emphasis on clarity, argumentation and context. 5. Responds to professional feedback and uses it to further develop the project. General competencies Student: 1. Independently plans and implements a long-term creative process. 2. Leads a professional dialogue on artistic issues within the studio environment. 3. Demonstrates sensitivity to the social, cultural and ethical aspects of one's own work. 4. Develops a personal authorial approach with regard to contemporary visual cultures. 5. Cooperates within a creative collective and contributes to a cultivated discussion.
