Course content
Basic quantum theory of solid state, especially band structure and its relation to material properties.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 96 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Develop: Understanding of basic solid state theory.
To explain and deduce basic knowledge on field, including simpler problem solving.
Prerequisites
knowledge of basic quantum mechanics, knowledge of high school chemistry and physics
