Learning outcomes
The course aims to deepen knowledge in an area of laser systems. Besides the theoretical background, the course aims to provide information of laser systems in practical applications, industry, medicine, and research and development. The student will obtain comprehending information of laser systems and their applications and he/she will be able to orientate in this area. The theoretical lectures are complemented by a practical tutorials.
Student will acquire information about the principal basic of laser systems, their positions with relation to other light sources, and their applications. Beside the theoretical background more practical aspects will be discussed and experiments will be carried out in laboratories.
