User-oriented introduction to Unix/Linux. Basic terms. Filesystem. Users and user right concept. Processes. Command interprets. Essential tools for text processing. Graphicsl user interface.
Students will acquire the basic concepts of the application of UNIX/Linux operating system.

Combined examination
Requirements for getting a credit are activity at the practicals /seminars and successful passing the tests. Examination is of the written and oral forms.
