Annotation in English
This bachelor thesis is concerned with the history of the Nez Perce Indian Tribeliving in the territory of the United States of America, its development, and mainly the historical events which distinctively changed the aboriginal traditions and Nez Perce way of life. The first part is dedicated to a description of the tribe and its history, while the second part pursues the development and changes that took place after their first contact with the white man until these days. The goal of this thesis is to answer a question to what degree the life of the Nez Perce tribe was influenced by their interaction with whites. The key issue for me is to find moments in history that brought about the most crucial changes.
