The thesis deals with the issue of school integration at the first level of primary schools. The aim of the master thesis is to describe the issue of school integration at the 1st level of primary schools and to find out the teachers' satisfaction with the work of personal assistants and teaching assistants, whether there are enough personal assistants and teaching assistants, as well as to find out the number of pupils with different types of disabilities at the 1st level of primary schools. The thesis is composed of several main parts. The first part is theoretical, in which the issues of school integration are described, important concepts related to school integration and inclusion, related legislation and, last but not least, attention is paid to compulsory school attendance. Furthermore, the definition of teaching pupils with special educational needs and the support measures used in their education are discussed. The second part of the thesis is the empirical part, which, among other things, deals with the analysis of information obtained from primary school teachers of the first level. The information was obtained by means of an online questionnaire, through which we investigated, for example, teachers' satisfaction with the work of personal assistants and teaching assistants. We also collected the number of pupils with different types of disabilities in the classes that teachers were currently teaching. The results of the survey are shown in graphs. The following part of the thesis is an evaluation of the results, which includes a conclusion. Here, the results of the survey are also described and it is evaluated whether the aim of the thesis was met. The thesis also includes a list of sources used and an appendix with the questionnaire.
