Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Practicum, Seminár
  • Class attendance - 56 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 24 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 30 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 40 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course follows the subjects Spinning, Weaving and Knitting. Gradually students are inform about problems of shortened special technologies in the production area of linear textiles (unconventional spinning method, flax fibre spinning, texturing). In 2D and 3D textiles - weaving part problems are focused on weaving techniques used in the field of production of narrow fabrics, hollow fabrics, carpet technology and technology for the production of leno fabric. In the knitting section they will be acquainted with the production of hosiery, compression knitted products and braiding technology. Students will be acquainted with technical and technological possibilities of special technologies and their applications incl. technical and medical textiles.
Extending and expanding the knowledge in the area of modern special mechanical textile technologies (area of spinning, weaving, knitting).
Prerequisites
Knowledge within the scope of the subjects: Spinning, Weaving, Knitting.
