Key learning outcomes To train students for education / teaching in geography as well as for applied geography using advanced geographic knowledge, methods and skills.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples Graduate will be prepared for professional interaction and application to government departments (state and local governments), but also non-profit and business sectors. Example employers: * County offices: Department of Spatial Planning, Regional development, tourism, environment and rural development, science * municipalities, municipal authorities: Department of Spatial Planning, the department responsible for agenda planning analytical materials * management of large protected natural areas: management of GIS, mapping, territorial limits * Regional Development Agencies * non-governmental organizations involved in regional development, promoting local initiatives, local action groups * architectural offices dealing with land use planning and regional development * public and private entities engaged in the collection, digitization, management and visualization of geographic data
