Key learning outcomes The study is conceived as a theoretical-practical unit in which students will learn the available knowledge of contemporary emergency medicine, intensive and resuscitation care and the possibilities of their effective use in practice. The objectives of the study are aimed at obtaining the professional qualification of a paramedic with the authorisation to perform activities in pre-hospital emergency care, including the air ambulance group, and in the provision of acute intensive inpatient care, including care in the emergency department.

Persistence requirements Studijní program poskytuje kvalifikační odborné vzdělání na bakalářském stupni. Ve studiu lze dále pokračovat v navazujících magisterských studijních programech stejného nebo příbuzného zaměření na jiných vysokých školách. Absolventi mohou dále studovat v navazujících magisterských studijních programech např. Ochrana obyvatelstva, Ekonomie a management ve zdravotnictví. V rámci specializačního vzdělávání se absolventi mohou specializovat v programu Urgentní medicína, Perfuziologie nebo Organizace a řízení ve zdravotnictví.
