1. Introduction of the issues of the people with hearing difficulties 2. Educating deaf children in regard of communication 3. Communication systems and supportive tools for the deaf 4. Practical training of intercommunication with a deaf person

Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence, Active metods (simulation, situational contingency methods, drama,acting, namagerial acting )

Learning outcomes
|
Students learn and adopt special skills that are necessary for the communication with people with hearing difficulties. Students underestand the influence of hearing difficulties on the social communication strategies. The communication barriers are seen as based on the hearing perception and differencies of the personal sign and signal system.

|
Student's performance analysis
To gain the credit students must join the seminat and write a semestral thesis. Other demands are specified by the lecture.
